The Cape Cornwall School community are thrilled to have received their Ofsted report, which judges the school to be ‘Good’ in all areas. This is a huge achievement for all involved and testament to the hard work and commitment of the school team, Governors, and parents, supported by Truro and Penwith Academy Trust.
The report recognises the unique community feel of the school and the impressive strength of relationships between students and between staff and students. Inspectors praised the quality of school’s curriculum and the school’s high standards for student behaviour. Inspectors also recognised the schools important work to develop student character through their excellent personal development programme.
Jon Hall, (Headteacher) says, ‘It is fantastic to receive this recognition of all the hard work that members of the school community have put in. We are extremely proud of our thriving school and it is wonderful to have the support of the Ofsted inspection which acknowledges this. We are definitely a small school which empowers students to achieve big things!”
